Don't Starve Together schaltet Mods über die Schaltfläche „Mods“ im Hauptmenü ein: Der Reiter „Server-Mods“ enthält die Mods, die eine Welt ausführt, der Reiter „Client-Mods“ die Mods, die nur auf deinem Rechner laufen.

Ein Server-Mod läuft entweder nur auf dem Server oder muss von jedem beitretenden Spieler heruntergeladen werden. Ein Mod, der einen anderen braucht, nennt ihn unter „Abhängige Programme erforderlich“ und abonniert ihn beim Aktivieren. Mods für Don't Starve geben an, ob sie mit RoG, Schiffbruch und Hamlet funktionieren.

    本人不会写代码，本MOD是本人订制的，不会维护，且看且用吧 在饥荒中想要实现各类功能都非常依赖于物品的使用，如果身上格子太乱，想找物品都要找半天。作为一个MMO重症患者，习惯了用键盘按技能的我非常讨厌这种用鼠标去找物品的操作，于是乎有了这个MOD 该MOD可将任意物品绑定快捷键，绑定后，根据游戏内的面板设置，按下快捷键可对该物品有五种操作：默认使用（老麦的书、帽子，旺达的表，火女的余烬等），装备，丢弃一个（小恶魔灵魂），丢弃一组，拿到手上（方便摆置厨师的锅，燃料添加等） B站视频介绍：
