Don't Starve Together attiva le mod dal pulsante «Mod» del menu principale: la scheda «Mod del server» contiene le mod eseguite dal mondo, la scheda «Mod del client» quelle che girano solo sul tuo computer.
Una mod server gira solo sul server oppure obbliga ogni giocatore che entra a scaricarla. Una mod che ne richiede un'altra la elenca sotto «Dipendenze richieste» e vi si iscrive quando la attivi. Le mod di Don't Starve indicano se funzionano con RoG, Naufragio e Hamlet.
在浣猫之年期间，浣猫每次呕吐都会额外生成一个包含 1 个幸运黄金/幸运金块的红包；野外首次摸到小浣猫时也会掉落一大袋幸运黄金红包。 但不知道什么原因，在某些情况下，红包预置体生成会失败，原版会直接闪退。 本模组会尽量按原版那样，先把幸运黄金包进红包再摆到地上；浣猫呕吐那段会再试一次生成红包。若红包仍然生成失败，则把幸运黄金直接放在本该出现红包的位置当作补偿。小浣猫贴贴那一段也会在红包失败时把金块掉落在地上，避免闪退。
