Don't Starve Together ativa mods pelo botão “Mods” do menu principal: a aba “Mods do servidor” tem os mods que o mundo executa, a aba “Mods clientes” os que rodam só na sua máquina.
Um mod de servidor roda só no servidor ou obriga cada jogador que entra a baixá-lo. Um mod que precisa de outro o lista em “Dependências Necessárias” e se inscreve nele quando você o ativa. Mods de Don't Starve dizem se funcionam com RoG, Náufrago e Hamlet.
