Lichen

Wilson P. Higgsbury

Nutritious, but it won't last long.

It's inadvisable that I should consume this without cooking it first.

Can I get something to eat now?

I shan't eat it by itself. But it'll do as a garnish.

Hmm, odd.

I picked it. But I won't eat it.

Dry, crumbly, sustaining.

I like me a lichen.

Fleeting, just like life.

I could eat it. Or I could launch it.

Ms. Wickerbottom

This won't last long.

CAVE ROT BY ANY OTHER NAME WOULD TASTE AS SWEET

Blah, tastes like sawdust.

Tastes terrible.

Yum! Tastes woody!

Sea-grass!

Smells good

THIS WILL CRUMBLE AWAY SOON.
