Words of the Constant
A home offers small comfort in this life.
Death incarnate!
What terrors must it see.
Everything dies.
It died too young.
Why bother building in the first place?
It clings to life. Barely.
The strangling vines have themselves been strangled.
The remains of a tuft of grass.
No more.
It has a strong smell.
I can't use that.
Oh look. More dirt.
I can outsmart the death traps.
Full of deception.
The source is distant.
It is forever seeking its lost half.
Something wicked is here!
The wickedness draws closer.
It is very close now.
What does this newfangled thing do?
It still needs a large key.
Let's see what I can find!
I could use that.
Remnants of destruction.
This seems excessive.
This bird seems too stupid to be alive.
How cute. And dumb.
What a dumb egg.
Not extinct yet, though not from lack of trying.
This is probably a mercy.
A spot of color in a dreary world.
With each of these the island gets dumber. And meatier.
It's burning on the inside.
Boom box.
This isn't shaped like a dragon at all.
Still not a dragon. At least it's dead.
It's a seed. It won't grow a dragon.
Well, at least it's a pie now.
Scales of pain.
Would make a lovely pet, if not for the whole "murder" thing.
Cruel hearts dwell within.
Hard to imagine this would birth forth such a horrific monster.
This heart's as dead as my own, although much warmer.
Yuck!
Makes a good thud, and it's nutritious!
Less raw, more tasty.
The currency of scallywags.
Will you wither, or live?
I like it dead, but I should plant this.
