Words of the Constant
A pointless thing to put on my head.
Useless. Just like life.
The world looks like the photographs of Abigail I have.
At least I can kill trees with style.
What a fancy blade to ruin bamboo with!
At least I can smash rocks with style.
At least I can till the earth with style.
At least I can dig with style.
Even in purgatory it remains the most precious of metals.
Offers too much hope.
Death is not sparkly.
Plucked like Abigail was from me.
The jungle's noose.
It needs poop.
It smells funny.
It's just a tuft of grass.
It has been killed.
It just couldn't take the heat.
Death comes to everything.
Alas, I'm too weak to pick it.
All things end.
The sun beats down.
Damp.
A flash of brilliance!
The flaws are its most beautiful features.
I can see the power sparkling deep within.
This mushroom is disappointingly normal.
All is malleable.
Dank.
I would hide too, if I could.
Harvested.
That's just gruesome. I like it.
The inevitable byproduct of life.
It fills me with no joy.
It is a dark path I tread.
Frozen like my heart.
A terrible weapon for a terrible world.
Death begets death.
Oh that I may crush the world.
The jungle's noose.
It's hard crust reminds me of life.
It brings naught but death.
They'll put flowers on anything these days.
Life brings pain, pain brings life.
Just a moderately cold lump of rock.
Frozen like my heart.
There it sits, just taking up space.
Those that burn brightest, burn fastest.
As lukewarm and lifeless as every other rock.
It's consumed in flames.
