Words of the Constant
It thieves others' life to maintain its own.
I can feel its stolen warmth.
A sack of blood ripped from a mosquito. I love it.
What a lovely shade of puke-yellow.
As if bloodsucking wasn't low enough, this one leaves you sick.
A new life. The last thing anyone needs.
The earth has vomited up its secrets.
Some day, I will join you.
An item with multiple uses.
All its efforts fall on rocky soil.
It looks like a rotting hat.
It has a glowing presence.
Do little gnomes live in these?
It's trying so hard. Why?
These are some strange trees.
This one is frail and scorned.
You cannot hide beneath the waves, meat!
My mouth's watering just looking at it.
They yearn for the deep.
I sure strongarmed this mussel.
They don't look that tough to me.
Ha!
The mussels cling to this stick. Fools.
That's grotesque.
Is it even worth turning this to honey?
One could end it all with this.
This smells pharmaceutical.
Empty. Like my life.
I wish water brought me that much happiness.
This soil withered its soul.
Temporary relief for life's griefs.
Eerie and yet beautiful.
With the sleep of dreams comes this stuff.
It pulls power from beneath.
I know not what lurks in the shadow.
It's almost over.
I am alone.
They're all around me!
I think they're leaving.
I can feel the prying eyes.
They approach.
Danger in the dark.
Dreams come to a point. A sharp one.
Herein lies the folly of man.
Bare and completely devoid of life.
A stone forged of fire.
It cuts and burns.
The tree's children will raze the world.
Don't give up, little flame!
A flame to keep the horrors at bay.
