Words of the Constant
It lends a false air of civility.
A tiny bulwark against the night.
Nature's ravenous wrath!
It sings a tortured song.
A handful of sustenance.
Electrical doo-what?
Simple grass has become deadly.
To prick and ensnare.
A devious surprise from underground.
Death when I least expect it.
A way to wrest items from the sea's grip.
What creatures will this wrest from the ocean?
Its journey is almost at an end.
It's started its journey into the depths.
It couldn't even hold ashes.
For which to contain my lucre.
Every once in awhile, things go my way.
Was this placed intentionally?
Oh... no...
Ancient, and full of life.
The peoples that forged this are long dead.
Perfectly misshapen.
Another mouth to feed.
Lucky robot, it never had a soul.
Not so slimy any more, are we?
Maybe if I drank this stuff I'd return to my sister.
If I pushed a pin into this doll, who would feel it?
Whoever this belonged to isn't walking anymore.
Whatever this belonged to met a bad end.
Whoever wore this is surely dead.
A remnant of a civilization lost at sea.
The owner's brain has surely clouded for good by now.
It's a fake. Just a temptation, like death.
I just use it as a paperweight.
What sort of simple mind would be amused by this?
Very DIY.
How unfortunate.
If only knives solved more of my problems...
I'd carry this to the end of the world.
I'd fly this straight into the sun, if only it was bigger.
Once alive with electricity, they've met their end.
Just a simple game.
I wish I could take a bath.
Mismatched buttons for a mismatched life.
A tribute to life.
Wish I wasn't here.
I can no longer be amused by childish things.
A brief respite from the hunger.
When I am still, it is as lifeless as Abigail.
It's offensively bright.
