Words of the Constant
Drying Rack
The rack got dried.
Jerky time!
In laboratory terms, we would call that "dry".
Meat takes a while to dry.
Meat takes even longer to dry in rain.
Rain, rain, go away. Be wet again another day.
Drying things is not an exact science.
Those look like they could use some meat.
It burned up!
Your jerky's ready, ma'am!
Your jerky's ready, ma'am!
It should be ready soon.
Oh no, it's never going to dry in this rain!
Oh no, it's never going to dry in this rain!
It should be ready soon.
Those are some pretty swell looking drying racks.
Oh botheration!
It's done! Finally!!
I think it's been aged enough.
I'll be old and grey before it's done...
The weather is not cooperating.
This isn't helping.
It's like watching paint dry.
Maybe I could help the poor old thing, if I have a spare minute or two...
Too dry! Too dry!
Your jerky is served!!
Et voilà! It is done!
Not quite dry enough.
Now it is more like a rehydrating rack...
Now we're just watering it.
Not quite ready yet.
It looks so bare... perhaps I could put some meat on it.
Such a shame.
The moisture has been vanquished!
'Tis as dry as an empty well!
It's being prepared just the way I like it.
All this rain isn't helping.
All this rain isn't helping.
It's drying out nicely.
I'd be cantankerous too if I were left without meat!
It's too brittle to hang meat on now.
Does she even have teeth?
Like the desert.
Still moist.
Moist and staying that way.
Moist and staying that way.
Still moist.
Perhaps if she were fed, she'd be less ill-tempered.
It burned away.
Ma'am! It's food time!
