Words of the Constant
Lake
It's dry as a bone.
Is that a mirage?
An invisible lake?
We're saved, Woby!
There might've been water here once... or maybe there will be.
Water! Finally!
There's nothing but mud.
I could use a little break.
Naught but a barren basin.
Perhaps a sword-wielding maiden lies beneath.
It's not in season.
Didn't think I'd ever come back here.
We can make mud pies!
That's a pretty lake!
If only my tears could dry up like this lake.
A place to drown my sorrows.
Perhaps it's not the right time of year.
It could support a small ecosystem.
It's a bunch of dirt.
It's a bunch of water.
There used to be water there.
Never seen such a clear lake before.
Lake should be here!
Splishes and splashes.
There's nothin' but dirt here.
That's a whole lotta wet.
Oh. Empty
Water! Water!
No swimming today!
Swimming gives me wet imp smell.
Nooooo! Where water go?!
Water!!
DRY LAKES ARE FAR SUPERIOR TO WET ONES
EVEN DESERTS ARE NOT SAFE FROM WATER
