Don't Starve Together turns mods on from the main menu's “Mods” button: the “Server Mods” tab holds the mods a world runs, the “Client Mods” tab the mods that run only on your machine.
A server mod either runs on the server alone or makes every joining player download it. A mod that needs another lists it under “Dependencies Required” and subscribes to it when you enable it. Don't Starve mods state whether they work with RoG, Shipwrecked and Hamlet.
How it works: Every season change it will choose between 20 and 50 items from a list of objects currently existing in the world and create a new one close to it. There can be a maximum of ~200 and a minimum of ~80 spawns per year, and what it chooses to sp
