Don't Starve Together turns mods on from the main menu's “Mods” button: the “Server Mods” tab holds the mods a world runs, the “Client Mods” tab the mods that run only on your machine.
A server mod either runs on the server alone or makes every joining player download it. A mod that needs another lists it under “Dependencies Required” and subscribes to it when you enable it. Don't Starve mods state whether they work with RoG, Shipwrecked and Hamlet.
One dedicated player reviewed the general LUA scripting to an old Don't Starve Mod in order to bring it to the modern-day Don't Starve experience so it doesn't crash on everyone anymore. Original credit goes to Fidooop, and I'm here trying to recreate the
