饥荒联机版在主菜单的“模组”按钮中启用模组：“服务器模组”页是世界运行的模组，“客户端模组”页是只在你电脑上运行的模组。
服务器模组要么只在服务器上运行，要么要求每位加入的玩家下载。需要其他模组的模组会在“依赖其他模组”中列出依赖，启用时自动订阅。饥荒模组会注明是否兼容巨人国、海难和哈姆雷特。
设置某个世界多长时间没有玩家则自动重置，支持按天数划分等级，需要订阅 配置扩展 模组设置 说明: 这是给多层世界专用服务器使用的模组 设定天数和秒数，大于等于多少天后如果达到多少秒该层世界没有玩家，就重置该层世界 “模式”决定了是否要一直计时 举例： 天数1 = 10 / 秒数1 = 480 这层世界如果10天后连续480秒没人来，就会重置这层世界 天数2 = 20 / 秒数2 = 960 与上面同时设置的效果就是10~19天内480秒没人就重置，第20天开始如果连续960秒没人就重置这层世界 以此类推..
