Words of the Constant
A full moon looms overhead. Watchful.
A new moon looms above us.
The moon is on the wane.
The moon waxes before us.
Its sharp edge would end this quickly.
Death is so anticlimactic for trees.
It feels almost alive, somehow.
What a sickly color.
What lives within that cold glass mound?
It's useless and missing a piece, much like me.
A lifeless sacrifice.
It's traveled so far...
Its pallor reminds me of Abigail.
Now it will never decay...
Terrible creatures lurk within.
Cold glass.
There's light trapped inside.
I shall be able to see with eyes unclouded.
It doesn't feel of this world.
That looks rather dangerous... I wonder if he'd let me try.
Empty.
I can see a little spark inside.
Like a roaming little spirit.
Heehee. Yes, I'd love to hear a secret.
It doesn't feel good to be incomplete.
You are whole again.
The whispers... are getting louder...
You're safe now.
It wants to find its missing pieces.
I will take you to your final resting place.
Abby and I will help put you back together.
Is something hiding in there?
I sense a presence within...
I sense a presence within...
I sense a presence within...
It wants some sort of energy.
So lost and alone... my sister and I will help you.
It took nourishment from dead things, now its death will nourish me.
All is malleable.
There's so much left to be done...
It's quite odd looking, isn't it?
How very peculiar.
I see the light.
Even the earth is falling apart under the pressure.
They're trapped... for now.
Oh. It's burning.
Your suffering is over now.
It's met its end at our hands.
A fleeting beauty.
Delicate and impermanent.
