Words of the Constant
A sturdy rope and a quick drop will see me to the other side.
It's quite pretty.
It won't take me to the one place I want to go.
It doesn't want me here... I don't blame it...
There's no life in it yet.
Much potential in a small package.
It was born to keep watch. One day, it will perish at its post.
They seem to stand vigil over something.
It's missing the spark of life.
I'm not the only one missing pieces.
What can it make to help us?
What's the point?
He gave in.
So much death.
We aren't meant to leave this place.
Broken.
I wonder what happens to us in-between.
There's no power.
It's broken.
A light in the darkness.
A healthy diet for a long life. How dreadful.
Dead and rotting.
Doesn't spice up my life.
Playing dress-up with a beefalo is... quite fun...
Tattered remains.
I can disappear into the darkness within.
They don't all come back.
You can't always fix what's broken. But sometimes you can.
One swift motion, and the work is done.
I will stay under its shadow.
It zaps your tongue.
They're definitely waffles.
I have a bad feeling about this.
It destroys, is destroyed and rises anew. The cycle endures.
All that death in such a tiny package.
It is soon complete.
A piece of its physical body discarded and forgotten.
I would be angry too.
Is it better not to know?
It prevents the little machine from crossing over.
It cannot be brought back but its parts may be gifted to another.
They're starting to irritate me.
Does it dream?
A shame we don't come with spare parts.
It can live again or sacrifice its parts for another.
It kind of lost its spark.
They are compelled by a greater entity.
Does it dream?
Some things are beyond repair.
How freeing it would be, to think like an emotionless machine.
