Words of the Constant
This cycle of the moon has drawn to a close.
The moon's cycle begins anew.
The moon is waning.
The moon is waxing.
Perhaps I could keep a sample and study the composition.
Always strive for greater efficacy.
The energy seems unstable, I'll have to be quick to put it to any use.
It appears to be mineral, but may actually be organic in nature.
It appears to be a den of some sort.
Would make a useful cartographic instrument with proper embellishments.
Curious. It rather looks like a key.
Implications of a lunar body? Interesting.
A floating orb of knowledge.
What a perplexing transformation.
Those poor hideous creatures are making their den here.
The glass seems to have stabilized.
It's radiating a faintly glowing energy.
A rather eccentric design, yet surprisingly effective.
I assumed it was a form of electricity, but it seems to be something else entirely...
That energy seems quite volatile.
It is not carrying a charge.
This device appears to keep the energy contained, somehow.
That energy has gone astray.
The voice says it has knowledge to share.
It says it'll share a secret with me if I complete it.
Are you ready to share your knowledge with me?
It says there's more knowledge yet to be found.
Come now, let's get you back where you belong.
I believe it is trying to communicate with me telepathically.
It's projecting a sense of urgency into my mind.
Its energy is prodding at the edges of my mind.
I'm afraid its purpose eludes me, for now.
I think I had best mine it out.
I think I had best mine it out.
I think I had best mine it out.
It is projecting images of an altar into my mind.
It's communicating a need to be reconstructed.
It seems to possess strong sleep inducing properties.
How odd. Once cooked, they seem to act as a stimulant.
I'm afraid I can't yet ascertain its function.
The pieces are slowly falling into place.
As I suspected, it's meant to function as a battery of sorts.
This is not the same type of magic I've seen from Maxwell's fuel.
The moon cycles here are beginning to make a lot more sense.
Goodness, that must have required some tenacity!
Tsk. Such a waste of resources.
Carbonized, through and through.
Little of use remains.
It seems to have been altered by ambient lunar energies.
What a peculiar specimen.
