Words of the Constant
What a terrible beast.
The beast came back even colder than before.
How curious, the things we choose to commemorate.
She now lies, cold as stone.
Its stony gaze will glare for eternity.
Alas, the king is but a figurehead, at best.
It won't be looking down on us anymore.
A cold mockery.
Hubris, undoubtedly.
No more life in this festive spirit.
Oh, if I could ride away into the night.
They're here.
No more will she soar over the gloomy shoals.
A fleeting moment of joy, captured in stone.
A testament to a lifetime spent alone in the dark.
I'd prefer to look at this over the real thing.
Such expression in her eyes.
She holds the true power, here.
We are all but pawns in this game called "life".
A bubble, frozen in time, can never pop.
A mere minion to something greater.
They're here.
Their cold shark heart was just misunderstood.
Dark and cold, like my soul.
A monument to fungal decay.
I still remember watching the light leave their eyes.
There's no life in this small sentry.
This doesn't capture its pain.
It was built to bring death.
Why was it able to come back? It's not fair...
It consumed to fill its endless void.
If only I could have a new start.
Not quite the fairy tale version.
How curious, the things we choose to commemorate.
A fuzzy ball of emptiness.
It's looking into my soul.
Not so much sleeping as... waiting.
It will make the emptiness in my chest grow even bigger...
I did not expect that.
I had a pet fish once... it didn't last very long.
My, what big teeth you have.
Naught but a pithy imitation of life.
To perish now would save me much sorrow.
There is no life in its eyes.
Darkness is looming.
I might survive this night!
A vision of a frozen-over Hell!
The gloom encroaches.
It's a weird fire.
That is not a good sign.
